Data protection
Which cookies and other attributes of yours do we collect and store?
We use cookies to provide users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the setting of cookies.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or so that a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely disabling cookies may mean that you cannot use all the features of our website.
We also collect data about access to the site and store it as ‘server log files’. The following data is logged:
- Visited website
- Time of access
- Amount of data sent in bytes
- Source/link that led you to this page
- Operating system used
- IP address used (if applicable: in anonymised form)
- The data collected is used solely for statistical analysis and to improve the website. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are specific indications of unlawful use.
What data collection and processing tools do we use?
Marketing and convenience tools
Google Web Fonts
In order to offer you the same experience on different platforms, we use the Web Fonts service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google stores the following data when you visit our site:
- Operating system
- Server time
- Approximate location of the user
- Browser used
- We use Google Fonts in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
DoubleClick
We use the online marketing tool DoubleClick from Google on this page (details can be found at Google Web Fonts). DoubleClick sets cookies that place relevant ads and evaluate them for efficiency, as well as prevent you from seeing an ad more than once. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal data.
DoubleClick establishes a connection with Google servers and transmits your IP address and other server log data. If you are logged in to a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account.
For more information, please refer to the Google privacy policy. There you will also find options for controlling how Google handles your data.
YouTube
We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offering. These are stored on YouTube servers. The service YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By activating the advanced data protection mode, no data about you is collected as long as you do not play the video. Nevertheless, YouTube contacts the DoubleClick service, which does not process any personal data.
When you play the video, your IP address and other server log data are transmitted and YouTube is informed that you have watched the video. If you are logged into YouTube, this information is also assigned to your user account.
You can find more information in Google's privacy policy. There you will also find options for controlling how Google handles your data.

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, the information you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore based on a pre-contractual measure (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO) and the legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) in being able to respond to your enquiry.

Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.
How we secure your data
